“I live in Warsaw, Poland, with my family. We are also proud pet parents to a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and a Ragdoll cat. Our home is always filled with love and muddy paw prints.
“I have a passion for pushing my limits in various areas of life. As a 10-time 70.3 Ironman and 70.3 Super League Triathlon finisher, I thrive on the physical and mental challenges that endurance sports provide. I have also been “collecting” Abbott World Marathon Majors. I have already completed the Berlin Marathon in 2021, followed by the New York City Marathon in 2022, and the Chicago Marathon in 2023. Next year, I will be running the London Marathon, and I still have the Boston and Tokyo Marathons on my bucket list.
“In addition to my love for running, including completing tens of half-‘s and marathons, I am also an avid, and Polish Mountaineering Association licensed, mountain climber and I love all kind of water sports, including autumn sailing in the rough waters of the Baltic Sea.
“When I am not pursuing athletic endeavours, I enjoy indulging in my other interests. I am a certified drone operator and love capturing aerial footage. I also love vintage motorcycles.
“My current role is Country Manager at Hive Energy, where I am developing a portfolio of various greenfield and brownfield RES projects (PV, BESS, H2) in Poland, also thanks to my transaction background I am growing our business by making acquisitions of project portfolios and through co-development agreements.
“Hive mission is very close to my personal life objective which is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact in the world. I also like this entrepreneurial spirit and ambitious goals Hive has to become one of the biggest RES developers in the market.
“Before joining Hive, I was already working to support the adoption of clean energy in Poland. I have successfully developed a portfolio of PV farms through to RtB and CfD auction and have experience as a C-level executive with the Polish Transmission System Operator, also used to be a board advisor to The Polish National Energy Conservation Agency.
“I had an interesting and varied journey to get to the world of renewables. My BSc was in European Civil Engineering Management and my MSc in Sociology and Politics. I then began my career in Audit & Transaction Advisory at Big4, then also working at top-tier banks, international investment banking and M&A advisory boutiques, enabling me to have a global perspective on investment opportunities and transactions. My professional background has allowed me to play a pivotal role in originating investment leads and deals for various entrepreneurs, strategic buyers, and private equity firms.
