The partnership between Hive and Ethical will facilitate the delivery of over 2GW solar projects. This pipeline marks our latest progression towards our mission; creating transformational change for a cleaner future. The combined position of Hive and Ethical will allow the Hive Group to select the best assets for development & acquisition. The partnership will be a key market player. Ethical has involvement in over 2GW of projects in development and tenders submitted to construct over 1.2GW of solar assets.

The partnership aims to build a sizeable portfolio of high-quality generating assets and secure long term PPAs. We believe that renewable energy generation is the most crucial thing to happen to our planet over the next 50 years. The acquisition of Ethical Power is an exciting milestone because it will allow us to transition into a leading renewable energy business. Furthermore, we will be able to deliver more world-class solar projects. This partnership will support the decarbonisation of our energy system and accelerate the transition to a green economy.
