– The delegate of the Regional Government in Albacete, Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos, together with the delegate of Sustainable Development, Llanos Valero, held a meeting with the director of Hive H2 Albamed, Estanislao González-Valls, and the director of Green Hydrogen for Hive Energy in Spain, José María Gómez. During the meeting, they reaffirmed that this project is of great interest within the regional Government’s commitment to renewable hydrogen.
– Hive Energy proposes to install a Hub, which will cover 17 municipalities in the province of Albacete and six in Cuenca.
The delegate of the regional Government in Albacete, Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos, held a meeting with Hive Energy, in which he made clear the regional Government’s willingness to collaborate with HIVE H2 Albamed project for the production of renewable hydrogen in the province.
This meeting, which took place at Casa Perona, between Ruiz Santos, the delegate of Sustainable Development, Llanos Valero; Estanislao González-Valls, Hive H2 Albamed project Director, and José María Gómez, Director of Green Hydrogen for Hive Energy in Spain, is preceded by the event held last May, in which Enagás, Hive Energy and the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha signed a three-party collaboration agreement for the development of renewable hydrogen projects and infrastructure in Castilla-La Mancha, about which Ruiz Santos recalled that the Government of Castilla La Mancha pointed out that Albamed is a project of great interest for the Autonomous Community within its commitment to this renewable vector.
The first two phases of Albamed I are located in Camporroso industrial area. It is expected that during the first semester of 2024, the permitting process of the second phase of Albamed I will be initiated and also the Priority Project Status of Strategic Interest will be requested to the Autonomous Community, along with the second and third phases of Albamed II. According to the calendar managed by the company, the Hub will be delivered in four phases. The first phase is expected to achieve a Final Investment Decision (FID) by the end of 2025 and full operation in the first semester of 2028, which includes an electrolysis of up to 800 MW combined with 1.1 GW of solar PV, 284 MW of wind energy and energy storage system.

– El delegado de la Junta, Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos, junto a la delegada de Desarrollo Sostenible, Llanos Valero, ha mantenido una reunión con el director de Hive H2 Albamed, Estanislao González-Valls, y el director de Hidrógeno Verde para Hive Energy en España, José María Gómez, en la que le ha recordado que para el Ejecutivo autonómico este proyecto es de gran interés dentro de su apuesta por el hidrógeno renovable.

El delegado de la Junta de Comunidades en Albacete, Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos, ha mantenido una reunión con Hive Energy, en la que ha dejado clara la predisposición del Gobierno regional en su afán de colaborar con el proyecto HIVE H2 Albamed para la producción de hidrógeno renovable en la provincia.
Este encuentro, que ha tenido lugar en la Casa Perona, entre Ruiz Santos, la delegada de Desarrollo Sostenible, Llanos Valero; Estanislao González-Valls, director de proyecto Hive H2 Albamed, y José María Gómez, director de Hidrógeno Verde para Hive Energy en España, viene precedido del acto escenificado el pasado mayo, en el que Enagás, Hive Energy y la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha firmaban un acuerdo de colaboración a tres partes para el desarrollo de proyectos e infraestructuras de hidrógeno renovable en Castilla-La Mancha, sobre el que Ruiz Santos ha recordado que el ejecutivo castellano-manchego señalaba que Albamed es un proyecto de gran interés para la Comunidad Autónoma dentro de su apuesta por este vector renovable.
Las dos primeras fases de Albamed I están ubicadas en el polígono industrial de Camporroso. Está previsto que durante el primer semestre de 2024 se dé inicio a la tramitación de premisos y solicitud de proyecto prioritario de la segunda fase de Albamed I, junto a la segunda y tercera fase de Albamed II. Según el calendario que maneja la empresa, el Hub se entregará en cuatro fases. Se espera que la primera fase logre la decisión final de inversión (FID) a finales de 2025 y el pleno funcionamiento en la primera mitad de 2028, la cual incluye la electrólisis de hasta 800 MW combinada con 1,1 GW de energía solar fotovoltaica, 284 MW de energía eólica y sistema de almacenamiento de energía.
